How do we get our business more out there. I am a notary that is only been in business for one year?
A notary in a startup, early stage or even one who has been practicing for many years needs to grow their business. One of the most important keys to growing your business is establishing and building relationships. When working with matters concerning estates, deeds, powers-of-attorney, local and international business, you need to work with the professionals that hire and/or recommend a notary. Build working relationships with Escrow Officers otherwise known as loan officers as well as other professionals including real estate agents, accountants, insurance brokers and lawyers. The way you do it is through networking. Become a member of local notary and business associations. Attend and/or sponsor seminars/events that bankers, insurance agents, real estate brokers, lawyers and accountants attend. Traditional marketing strategies also work if the message and market is properly targeted. These include; direct mail, media advertising to create awareness, build a website and use Internet marketing i.e. email, pay per click ads, public relations. The best advice I can give you is to Network, Network, Network and never give up!
